This session was extra special because it wasn’t just another maternity shoot — it was for one of my besties and her sweet little family! 🥹 Marissa and Phil are getting ready to welcome their second baby boy in just a few short weeks, and I couldn’t be happier for them.

Carter was such a star during the session — full of energy, smiles and the sweetest moments snuggling up to mama’s belly. He’s already taking his big brother role very seriously (and I think he’s going to nail it!).

We captured this cozy session at Kiah Studios in Woodstock, which gave us the perfect soft, natural light and a relaxed setting to really let their personalities shine. There’s something so beautiful about documenting these in-between moments — all the excitement, the love and the calm before their next adventure as a family of four.

I’m just so grateful I got to freeze this sweet chapter for them before their new little guy arrives! 💙
