Katie and her sweet family were an absolute joy to work with. They welcomed me into their home with so much warmth and kindness, inviting me into the quiet little world they’re living in right now: Their newborn bubble! Baby Sophie was a dream the entire session, making it so easy for Katie and Danny to simply relax and enjoy these moments while I documented them for years to come.

There’s something so tender and fleeting about that newborn bubble. Half the time you don’t even realize you’re in it until you look back and realize how quickly it passed. As a mom of two boys, I remember those days so clearly; It was just me, my husband, our tiny baby and the softest little routines that filled our home. It’s a season that comes and goes in the blink of an eye, and I felt so honored to capture a piece of it for the Sanchez family.

And of course, we can’t forget their adorable pup, Vino! He was so fluffy, sweet and completely smitten with baby Sophie. He definitely tried his best to steal the show…but let’s be honest, it’s hard not to when you’re that cute!
