Lyda Grace and Calvin were an absolute dream to photograph! From the moment we started their session, their energy was so effortless, sweet and full of that unmistakable “we’ve known each other forever” kind of love. And it makes sense — they’re high school sweethearts who are tying the knot in Italy next year. (Trust me, I’m still crossing my fingers they’ll sneak me into their suitcases!!)

We kicked things off at the Capitol — those photos are coming soon, and they’re worth the wait — and then wandered through downtown Atlanta until we found the most stunning gold doors. The light, the architecture and the two of them together created pure magic.

I feel so lucky to have captured this chapter for them, and I truly cannot wait to see where their love story takes them next…hopefully all the way to Italy with me in tow.
