Megan and Payton’s wedding day at The Trillium Venue was one of those celebrations that felt beautifully intimate, intentional and full of heart. They chose to keep things small with their closest family and friends, overlooking the mountains in one of the most stunning spots in Gatlinburg. Every detail felt personal and meaningful; exactly the way a wedding day should be. Dahlia & Vine couldn’t have helped execute a better day!

Payton surprised Megan with the most gorgeous floral arrangement while she was getting ready — such a thoughtful touch!

Their wedding party included only their siblings and best friends, keeping the morning relaxed and sweet. They decided not to do a first look, and I am so glad they didn’t, because Payton’s reaction to Megan walking down the aisle was one of the most genuine moments of the entire day. The way he looked at her with pure joy and emotion. We were all crying right along with him.

Their vibe was the perfect mix of Georgia cowboy meets the mountains, and I was absolutely obsessed. Megan’s lace gown from Watters at Magnolia Laine Bridal was stunning, and paired with their subtle cowboy boot + hat details, the whole day felt effortless, stylish, and completely them. She had the perfect hair and makeup team to complete the entire look.

One of my favorite details was that Megan’s sister baked their wedding cake and all of their desserts. It added such a sentimental touch, and it made their reception feel so cozy and personal.

Payton’s mom also surprised them with their getaway car, which could not have been more perfect. We had so much fun capturing photos with it — it added the sweetest vintage touch to the end of the night.

After dancing the night away with Smokey Mountain Sounds, they ended their celebration with a bubble exit, surrounded by their favorite people, before driving off into the mountains together as husband and wife. Truly the dreamiest ending to the most beautiful day.

Megan and Payton — your day was full of love, intention and joy from start to finish. It was an honor capturing every moment of it.
