Christina and Matt had me come out the night before their fall wedding in Boston and we truly had the best time! It was my first time ever traveling to Boston, so getting to start the trip by capturing this little piece of their weekend felt really special.

We kicked off the evening wandering around Salem, Massachusetts, which could not have been a more perfect backdrop. It had that cozy fall charm, little pockets of pretty light, and all the excitement you can feel the night before a wedding. Christina and Matt were so easygoing — just enjoying the moment, soaking in the “we’re really doing this” energy.

After that, they headed to their welcome party at the sweetest little speakeasy. It was intimate and relaxed, full of their closest friends and family. Everyone was eating, drinking, catching up, and just enjoying being together before the big day. I loved getting to document those in-between moments — the hugs, the nerves, the laughs — all the things that makes a wedding weekend feel like a full story instead of just one day.

One of my favorite parts? Matt works for a brewery, so they actually made a custom wedding beer for their guests. How fun is that?! It was a such a cool personal touch leading up to their special day.

I can’t wait to share more from their actual wedding day because it was beautiful, but for now, here’s a little peek at the night before!
