Emma and her beautiful family were greeted by what had to be the windiest day of November for their session…truly! It wasn’t even that cold, but the gusts kept us on our toes the entire evening. Still, we leaned into it, laughed through it and somehow the wind helped us make the most magical images.

Baby Sloane was an absolute angel the whole time. For a little one to handle that much wind and still give us the sweetest expressions? A true trooper. Her tiny curls blowing everywhere might actually be my new favorite thing.

I don’t always photograph families year-round, and while I adore every family session I do take on, fall always brings the biggest wave of them. The Allen family was the perfect reminder of why I love capturing these fleeting moments so much.
