This session was extra special to me because Marissa is one of my dearest friends, and getting to document this chapter of her life was such an honor. Looking through these photos honestly made me emotional — it feels like just yesterday I was taking newborn photos of Carter, and now here we are welcoming baby number two.

Baby Casey was an absolute dream during the session and made my job so easy. Carter did great, Tanner (their sweet pup) completely stole the show, and the nursery was just perfection. Marissa did the most beautiful job decorating Casey’s space with a golden retriever theme, and I loved every little detail.

Watching Marissa and Phil step into life as parents of two boys has been so heartwarming — especially as a fellow two-boy mom. There’s just something about that season of life that bonds you instantly. I’m so grateful to document these milestones for the people closest to me 🤍
