This intimate Boston wedding was TO. DIE. FOR. 🍂
Not only was it my first time ever visiting Boston, but I also had the absolute honor of capturing Christina and Matt’s wedding day…and wow, what a dream it was from start to finish.
From the moment I arrived, every detail felt thoughtful, elevated, and so them. Christina spent the morning getting ready with her girls in the most charming bridal suite at their venue, Floriana – Ipswich. Truly one of those spaces that feels cozy yet elegant, with beautiful natural light that made every getting-ready moment photograph like a dream.

And can we talk about the bridesmaids for a second? The espresso-colored dresses stopped me in my tracks. They were rich, timeless and photographed beautifully, especially paired with the soft fall light and the surrounding autumn landscape. I will never get over how perfectly they tied the entire aesthetic together.

Christina’s look was brought to life by the incredibly talented Deanna Elyse Makeup and Shelby White Beauty, and everything – from her glowing skin to the effortless glam – felt classic yet modern. She truly looked stunning.

One of my favorite moments of the day was Christina and Matt’s first look. It was sweet, quiet and incredibly intimate. Matt was floored seeing Christina in her gown, and the emotion between them was so genuine. Afterward, we spent some time exploring the property at Floriana for portraits, and honestly…they speak for themselves. The fall tones, the architecture, the love; Everything just worked.

Once they said their “I do’s,” the energy completely shifted and the celebration was ON. Despite having a smaller guest list, the crowd absolutely knew how to party. The reception was full of laughter, dancing, and the kind of joy you only get when everyone in the room truly knows and loves the couple.

Toward the end of the night, Matt took a moment to thank everyone for traveling and celebrating with them, which somehow turned into one of the most iconic endings to a wedding day. He wrapped things up with a mashup of his favorite scream-o / punk rock throwbacks (yes, like the ones we all loved 10+ years ago), and it was such a fun, unexpected way to close out the night.

Christina’s dress change deserved its own moment…because WOW. It was such a fun, bold transition and fit the reception vibe perfectly.

Christina and Matt, thank you for trusting me with such a special day. Your wedding was intimate, intentional, and unforgettable and I’m so honored to have been part of it. 🤍
Florals throughout the day were beautifully designed by Celia’s Flower Studio, adding the perfect romantic touch to an already stunning celebration.
