Some sessions hit different—and this one had my heart from the very start.

Photographing Yomy and Kailee’s maternity session was more than just a job…it was a memory in the making with two of my dearest friends. My husband and I have been best friends with them since our college days, so to get the honor of capturing this next chapter for them felt incredibly special.

Each year, we take a family trip together to Clearwater, and this time it became even more meaningful. With two beautiful little girls already lighting up their world, this sweet baby boy on the way made this year’s trip unforgettable. Watching Kailee soak in these final moments before her son arrives, surrounded by her girls, was such a full-circle moment.

We chose Sand Key Beach for the session, and it truly showed off. A golden sunset, a salty breeze, and even a sailboat gliding by (seriously, could’ve been a paid actor). It was everything Kailee envisioned: relaxed, candid, joyful moments that felt as effortless as they looked.

Fun fact: I’m actually a South Florida native, so every time I’m back in the sunshine state, I feel right at home behind the lens. Photographing sessions like this one reminds me why I love it here, and why I’d be thrilled to book more Florida weddings and sessions in the future.
