There are some families you get the privilege of growing with over the years, and Schuyler’s is one of those for me. From photographing little Henry’s first birthday to capturing their maternity session earlier this year, I’ve been lucky enough to document some of their most meaningful milestones. So when they asked me to photograph their newborn session, I couldn’t wait to meet their newest addition.
This time around, Schuyler and Joseph decided to be surprised by the gender of their baby—and that moment of discovery made it all the more special. They welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Audrey, and she was every bit as perfect and peaceful as you’d imagine.

We had their session at Kiah Studios in Downtown Woodstock, one of my favorite locations for newborn shoots, especially when home isn’t quite photo-ready Kiah offers the perfect mix of cozy and curated, with lots of soft natural light, warm tones and lifestyle-inspired spaces that make everything feel relaxed and real. There’s a comfy bed, a variety of couches, and even a sweet little crib tucked in the corner—all creating the kind of setting that lets your family shine. While there’s a small fee to shoot there, it’s truly worth it for the low-stress experience and the dreamy results.

Audrey was an angel the entire session — sleepy, snuggly and already so loved. Watching Henry gently interact with his new baby sister was such a sweet full-circle moment for me.

Thank you for trusting me time and again to capture your story. Baby Audrey is so lucky to have you all and I can’t wait to see her grow.
