Some wedding days are loud and elaborate, and others are soft, simple and full of quiet magic. Sarah and Nick’s Atlanta elopement was the latter, and it was perfect in every way.
They kicked off the day with a small courthouse ceremony, surrounded by their immediate family. It was intimate, heartfelt and exactly what they wanted: no frills, just love. I met them right after at Atlanta City Hall, where we started their photo adventure at the iconic gold doors, gleaming in the light.
From there, we made our way to the Capitol building. If you’ve ever seen it up close, you know – it’s timeless. The grand architecture and soft, golden tones gave us an elegant, classic setting that truly reflected their style. Sarah’s satin dress caught the light with every step, and Nick’s quiet smile never left his face. You could feel their happiness in every frame.
But we didn’t stop there. Our final stop was The Candler Hotel, where they were staying that evening. We headed up to their room for some fun, candid moments; Champagne in hand, shoes off and a little jumping on the bed (because why not?). It was playful, real and such a perfect reflection of their energy as a couple.
One of the sweetest details of the day? Sarah’s bouquet was handmade by her best friend. That simple, thoughtful touch added such a personal layer to everything. It was one of those little things that made the day feel even more special.
Cheers to the Weavers!
