Some photos feel like a dream you’ve had on repeat, and this was one of them.
I’ve carried around this idea in my head for awhile now: the soft golden light of summer, an old pickup truck parked in a field and two people so wildly in love they almost forget I’m there. It’s the kind of scene that feels like it belongs in a movie, or maybe just in your favorite memory.
And then came Meghan and Chase.

They’re married, deeply in love and genuinely two of the kindest people I’ve ever had the joy of photographing. From the second they stepped in front of the camera, everything just clicked. They were sweet and playful, completely at ease with each other and totally down to bring this creative vision to life.

There was no posing or pressure, just real moments. A forehead kiss here, a whispered joke there. Meghan’s hand resting gently on Chase’s chest as he leaned in. Laughter that couldn’t be staged if we tried. The truck, the field, the breeze – it all came together exactly how I’d imagined it, but even better because it was them.

a little 35mm film to fit the vibe
